The occasional AI hiccup doesn't soil the game's otherwise grandiose tactical battles.Ĭampaign is huge and much better paced than the campaigns of Empire and Napoleon. New special effects and a prettier campaign map add to the already gorgeously-detailed, epic battles of the previous games, with hundreds of armor-clad samurai hacking and slashing each other.Ĭastle-seiging is tipped a little too much in favor of the defender, and naval battles could still use a bit of work.
